About Gayle

An award-winning multimedia marketing/communications specialist and top producing North Fork Realtor, Gayle Marriner-Smith was honored to join Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty in 2017 as their North Fork Masterpiece Collection Ambassador, presenting exceptional upper tier properties to the global marketplace. Gayle thrives on creating innovative custom marketing strategies for her sellers, in all price tiers. Her staging expertise and Feng Shui certification help support her clients as they prepare their property for market, greatly enhancing its value and marketability. She is also a Certified Buyer Representative (CBR) and a passionate North Fork resource for her buyers, being both a Fourth Generation North Fork Summer Person as well as a graduate from a local High School. Part of the group of artists, performers, and writers who urban pioneered the Brooklyn warehouse/loft neighborhood, DUMBO, Gayle now lives full time on the North Fork, with Marine Scientist husband, Chris Smith, (former Director of Cornell Marine Program) and their Rescue Border Collie, Turkish Angora, & Maine Coon. Prior to her successful real estate career, Gayle was President/CEO of EcoVision, Inc., a multi-media marketing firm specializing in environmental initiatives and small community development with such national clients as US EPA, US Fish & Wildlife, Association of National Estuary Programs and such local clients as Bridgehampton National Bank, North Fork Promotion Council, Greenport BID, East End Seaport Museum and Maritime Foundation, Long Island Wine Council, and just about every non-profit on the East End through the East End Economic & Environmental Institute initiative she helped spearhead. She is also the former President of Save the Peconic Bays and former Board Member of East End Arts Council and the American Littoral Society. Gayle’s marketing and outreach work has been recognized with awards from such entities as the US Environmental Protection Agency, Empire State Development I Love New York, and the New York State Outdoor Education Association. She was Suffolk Life’s Public Service Person of the Year and nominated for Suffolk County’s Woman of the Year. Her former real estate broker named her the North Fork representative for their “Mastermind” program and she was the recipient of numerous awards there. Gayle is a Certified Resort and Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS) and an EcoBroker, as well as the fore mentioned Certified Buyer Representative. A Member of both the National and Long Island Board of Realtors and the New York State Association of Realtors, she specializes in Waterfront, Water View, and Water Access properties as well as Historic properties.
